→ personal obsession to specific titles aside, Roguelites is really one of the most underrated genres in the gaming industry, it has so much potential in terms of gameplay mechanics, narrative, and looting. It’s also a great alternative to long narrative RPGs because its fragmented gameplay offers more flexibility to the gameplay experience - you can easily pick up - drop down - pick it back up.
