I have a 85" Samsung 120hz 4k TV and everything looks AMAZING on it. I really don’t like the blurryness and trails from frame generation, so this thing handles almost everything great. FF XVI gets about 87fps at full settings ultra settings with no upscaling or frame generation.
I suggest using upscaling because… you can’t really tell the difference and it is free frames (at least I can’t).
What are those whispy lines?
Opposite the TV I have a big bay window and vertical slat curtains. Those are the lines between the slats where a tiny bit of light peeks through. It’s only noticable for like a couple hours in the afternoon. There are tall trees that cover the light around 6-7ish in the summer
Ah, that is what those streaks are, thank you! It looks amazing, it is a shame I could not get into FFXVI. I found the combat to be boring, I could close my eyes and beat a boss by just spamming the combo buttons.
It’s a very cinematic game. Half watching a movie. With some good frame rates on that big TV (and a mod to unlock 60fos cutscenes) it’s a brilliant experience. Bit other games like Forza, BG3, GoW, Wu Chang, anything you can play in 4K on a good screen with good,steady frames is gorgeous!
