I don’t think 13 and 14 generation was that popular and they’ve moved onto the new core series already.

That’s a massive overstatement. The CPUs themselves are not being labelled “Legacy.”

The driver updates for the UHD 730, 750, and 770 graphics built into these CPUs, along with the Intel Iris Xe dedicated GPU, is moving to a legacy driver support model. That means they don’t plan to continue updating the drivers for these integrated GPUs in order to support new games or enhance performance, just keep up with security fixes.

The CPUs themselves are not “Legacy.”
