what size is the screen?

I haven't measured it, but if it isn't a 15 then it is a 17 because the screen is quite big. My wife doesn't use it as much as I thought she would because she does prefer the smaller (and hence lighter) screen of her really old Dell.

Does it have touch screen?

No it does not have a touch screen.. Also no optic drive, so be prepared to hunt for one or get an external... kinda sucks not being able to load dvds on this laptop but it is pretty good still

Does this notebook have a camera or a jack so I can use a camera for the purposes of skype?

Yes it does.  It's not a bad one, either.  And yes there are USB ports you may utilize.  As well as a built in microphone.  The worst part of this computer is that the speakers are on the underside, which muffles the sound.  And just a warning:  Windows 8 apps don't like to share your speakers, and even they do, you can't control the volumes separately.  I actually do like the computer, though.  It's a decent laptop capable of low level gaming for a very cheap price.

Can this laptop handle games, such as Skyrim and Minecraft, fairly well?

I'm not good with video games, now a pinball machine, that's another story.  On any pinball machine, I can kick your butt for a dime and give you 9 cents change.  Seriously though, this laptop is a pretty good tool in my line of work.  HMPIII

It does not have a disc drive at all. I probably would not have purchased if I had realized that, but it's been a really good laptop for my school and work needs. It has 3 USB ports, one of which is a high speed port. It was a good buy for the price though.

Is there any way to get Windows 7 instead of Windows 8?

Yes, but they don't sell it with Win7. Win8 is a p.o.s. as well as 8.1, they're both tile based p's.o.s. The laptop itself (though I consider it a netbook as it does not come with a Rom of any kind) is pretty decent. NewEgg asked me to make this reply to this question, they just ruined they're search engine for shopping, which is rather sad as it will take you weeks to dig out this reply in the hopes to find this laptop (based on the crappy new search engine). Best of luck Kristian, you might consider looking at their open box or re-certified items, as you will likely find something in the same price range and not have to spend more money to get Windows7.

Is this Windows 8 64-bit?  Am I correct in assuming there is only a 64-bit version?

Yep! This laptop has Windows 8 64-bit pre-installed. Windows 8 is available in a 32-bit version but must be purchased and installed separately. If you're concerned about app compatibility, you can use the Microsoft Windows 8 (Now Windows 8.1) Upgrade Assistant to help you figure out what needs upgrading or not. It's available for free on the Microsoft website; just search for it.

If by "having html" you mean can it get on the internet then yes. 
It is not a very powerful computer but if all you want to do is web browsing and simple applications like a document editor/creator then it is a good price for an ok computer.

Can you tell me how the ram is broken down? 2 X 2gb sticks or 1 4gb stick?

The configuration, one 204 pin DDR3 PC3-12800 four gig stick with an easy to access open slot.  A eight gig upgrade is about $50.00 - $65.00 and with the video using the ram is a great upgrade.

is there a web cam that can take still pictures and make a video?

Yes, but there is no disk drive. The drive can be added(about $19.00 on EBay). I can't say how well it works because I have hidden it from the 10 year old child that it was purchased for. We plan on using a flash drive in lieu of the disk drive.
