how do I hook up using a internet service modem box?

I used wifi, which was very easy because there is nothing to plug in. But it looks like there is a spot to plug in an Ethernet cable on the back of the computer right above the connections for the speakers. The second row from the bottom.

PC   DX4870 desk top,UB17  windows 8 64 bit
Medicaom internet service suppose to be 50 mbps ( not even close )Cable is hooked direct to modem. a Blue LAN  multi wire cable from modem to wi fi router. There is a yellow multi wire cable wire from PC that goes no where !! Modem has a direct phone wire also from wall plug. I see no wire to PC from cale source. It works but don't know why  but download speed normal not 50 mbps. How do I wire it ? have any wire plot digrams available ? sugetions

Honestly the entire Case is a bad design. You would be better off buying a separate and more spacious case then installing the hardware there. After trying to modify several things and replace part I realized that the internal wiring is partially not accessible unless you break parts of the case open.
