1. Fasgear 16pin male to 4*8pin(6+2) female extension cable is mainly designed for Graphic Card which has 16pin(12+4) port (12VHPWR power port), like RTX 3090 Ti, 4080, 4090.
2. This GPU power extension cable CAN NOT plug in PSU port directly and it should be used with the PSU's original PCIE/CPU 8-pin cable together, and need 4 unoccupied 8pin ports on your PSU. Please see our pictures for the correct connecting way.

Q1: What PSUs are compatible with it?
A1: It is compatible with for most modular power supplies, which requires 4 unoccupied 8pin PCIe/CPU ports at least. Compatible with ASUS, EVGA, Seasonic, Corsair, Thermal-take, Great Wall, NZXT, MSI, etc.
Q2: Why can our cable carry a maximum of 600W power?
A2: Our cable uses Hi-Conductivity Copper Terminals, which can carry current up to 10-12A. 16AWG copper wire can also carry 12A current. Theoretically, there are 3 power supply circuits within an 8pin. 10A*12V*3=360W, that means, a single 8pin can carry a maximum of 360W power. The amount of power output depends on the capacity of the power supply. In theory, a single 8pin port of the power supply can output about 300W.
Q3: Will it affect using when the cable has one empty pin?
A3: No, it does not affect using because the one empty is connected to the GND wire with the function of overcurrent protection.
