Can I use tap water in this humidifier?
Yes, but distilled or purified water is recommended when possible. Tap water may lead to more mineral buildup in some areas. Refrigerator filtered water can also be used, but room-temperature water is recommended for more stable mist output.
Why is there water collecting around the humidifier or on the top cover?
Water buildup may occur if humidity concentrates around the unit. This model has fixed mist output, so if needed, switch to intermittent mist mode and place it on a flat, well-ventilated surface away from fabric, foam, or other soft materials.
Why is there no mist when I use it for the first time?
If there is no mist during first use, check that the cotton filter is installed correctly. After filling the tank and replacing the cover, let it sit for 10 minutes so the filter can absorb water. Once fully soaked, connect power and turn it on.
Can I add essential oils to this humidifier?
