not connecting to computer, have installed new batteries?

If you're using Windows 7 or later, turn off the keyboard power, open the "Devices and Printers" area and remove the keyboard and/or mouse. Turn on the keyboard and/or mouse and make them "findable." The keyboard should show up and give you the Key. Make sure you type in the key on the keyboard and hit the key. Do the same (if necessary) for the mouse. Hope this helps.
