Does this work with windows 7?

I used this device with windows 7 32bit,  windows 7 64 bit and currently on windows 8.1 64 bit and it works fine.  When challenges arose in the past I typically found it to be the result of the windows operating system's power management feature, where it will shut off the power/driver for a device which goes unused for a time.  You can go into the control panels device manager and disable that power management for the various usb hubs which are functioning.

Plugs into a single USB port, probably on the back of your computer or on the sibe of your laptop.
