I have Ryzen 1600, running this ram at 2400 with zero issues thus far. Like others said, it depends mostly on your motherboard.

Will this memory down clock to 2133 for intel 6th gen cpus?

Yes... it most likely will be set at 2133 out of the gate it was for me for my 7th gen Intel and I had to mess with the profile to get it to read 2400.

P.s. this is ddr4 if your just upgrading memory make sure you have a ddr4 board because ddr3 and ddr4 have different notches

Hello Alexander,

As far as performance goes, probably not but the main difference is the AMD specific kit is confirmed to work with AMD platforms out of the box while the other kit that is not marked as compatible with AMD is not guaranteed to be tested to work with AMD (or only play nicely with specific AMD boards and not all of them).

It is highly recommended that you buy AMD specific memory if you plan on using a Ryzen CPU otherwise you may end up with a kit that will not work with your CPU and/or motherboard.  Hope this helps (but make no mistake that this does not mean that it will not work otherwise, just not a guarantee)!
