Can you upgrade RAM?

I bought one of these recently.

Yes, you can upgrade the memory. It comes with (1) One 8GB Stick of DDR3L 1600 ("L" Stands for "Low power"... 1.35V specification...you need to match this spec)

There are two memory slots, allowing for an additional stick.

I bought the following, and it seems to be working well:

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-1600C9S-8GRSL

Two pieces of unsolicited advice:
1) DO get a good SSD. It makes a world of difference
2) If you purchase this laptop, and encounter a problem with Windows refusing to update, go into BIOS, and Turn off "Secure Boot". Once it does the updates, turn Secure Boot back on.

It appears that it ships with one 8GB SODIMM. Is this correct?

Is this memory user-replaceable (ar ther one of more slots in which memory modules can be added/replaced)?

What is the maximum memory this laptop can accomodate?

2 USB 2 ports and 2 USB 3 ports. One of each on each side. The left USB 2 is shaped to also fit a eSATA.
