why does my video turn off when i play games or use the laptop on an external monitor? i have had this laptop for a year and it has done this since day one, i have tried to update the drivers and all but nothing helps. this is my only appointment with this laptop and from what i read many others have the same issue. please help. thanks.

I dealt with the same issue on this laptop for over a year and I sent it in for warranty repair over 4 times.   They claim that the issue is because of Windows 10 Pro but other users are experiencing the same issue on even the home version of Windows 10. Good luck ever getting this fixed at this point I'm fed up with in I just want to sell the laptop to buy a desktop.

There are several references to incorrect images used for this product. Could someone here please confirm if this model has the DVD drive on the side as indicated on the pic?

The 17" model has the DVD drive on the front, where the ODD/HDD bay indicator is in the images. Some are saying the pics are of the 15, but the 17" does have the DVD drive in the same spot.

I hear Dragon Center is a big problem. Will the computer still run the same if I uninstall it? Also, I need a laptop for multiple work and play projects. How does this computer work with multiple soft-wares installed?

How does this computer handle multitasking? Will I be able to play a game, and have other programs open, like the internet, recording software, etc.?

How does this computer handle Modding and Custom Content?

How does this computer handle recording gaming footage, and audio recording? I want to post LET’S Plays and other videos online, and I need a laptop that can handle all of these things.

It handles multitasking well from my view aspects. I can run chrome browser, my favorite game and IDE (visual studio) simultaneously, and it handles it well.

no this isen't the correct the GIGABYTE P55Wv6-NE2 has the pictures of this one, and this one has a picture of a older model
