is this drive good for a loptop?

I would think that the Gigabyte brand should be better than some of the off-brands. I usually use Samsung SSD's but tried this one because of price. Yes, any SSD should increase the performance of your laptop, just make sure that it has  sata instead of pata as usually found in older laptops.

Is this SSD TLC (2D NAND or 3D NAND) or is it MLC?
