original BIOS version was F2, it is at version F21d now. It is always recommended to update the latest version.

I like that Gigabyte continues to support the older boards like the A520i. They just released the latest version F21d (Sept 2024).

I can't remember where I read it but it may run 2nd gen processor but will not have support for them. Was built to support gen 3 and future releases. Gigabyte has a detailed list of supported CPU and APU on their website.
