Are there LED's? and are they orange like in the pictures, or red, or rgb

They are fully RGB and use a spherical color slider, while also having some nice color presets like white, greenish yellow, orange, red, dark blue, light blue, and green. You can also set them to be static, flash on and off, fade in and out, rotate through the presets, or turn them off entirely. Also it has one red LED that only turns on while you're in the bios settings.

will this motherboard be compatible with a 1440 144hz monitor and is it SLI? plan on running two 1080s.

With an i5 7600k, would this mobo support 2560x1440 output through both the HDMI and the DisplayPort video outputs at the same time to dual monitors?

I plan on using a 144hz monitor. This will be my first build, I noticed that it doesnt say anything about a DVI-D port, so will it still be able to get full use out of a 144hz monitor?

The DisplayPort on the motherboard will support a 144MHz monitor (with a DisplayPort). You are correct that the motherboard does not have any type of DVI port.  Only DisplayPort and HDMI.

This does not give out the packaging contents in the specifications area can someone list them for me. The other boards list them but this one does not. Was wondering if it came with a sli hb bridge. Side question  If it does come with a sli hb bridge, does it perform good like evga hb bridge?

This board comes with no slightly bridges at all. Boards with slightly bridges will cost you more than this. This is a low to midrange board. The board comes with driver cd, back panel 2 Sata cables, manual, aorus sticker. It's a very nice board for the price and performs well. It's hard to say what the upgraded aurorus boards have that this does not besides more rgb leds.

Are the .m2 slots shared with Sata 6gb ports?

The physical slots are not shared, but because of the limitations of the Z270 chipset the channels might be shared.  If you use both m.2 slots, you lose two sata channels. If you only use 1 m.2 slot, you still have all sata channels available. It's described in the motherboard owners manual, available on their website.
