No that is not true. Entering the BIOS is as simple as hitting delete during the splash screen for the board.

What is the differences between gigabyte ga-z97x-gaming 5 and this gigabyte ga-z97x-gaming 3?

As far as I can tell, just the audio capacitors for onboard audio and the plated the audio and video connectors with gold. Otherwise they're practically identical.  You'll probably get better bundles with the Gaming 5 though.

if i have an i7 4790 and ram ddr3 1333 16gb would it work with this motherboard?

The 4790 will work, I have 2 of these running the 4690, as for ram, the board has 4 slots so you should be able to run 16 or even 32 gig or ram (4X4 or 8X4) you will need to check Gigabytes compatibility list to see if your actual ram will work with this board, FYI I haven't had any issues with ether of my rigs running this board with GSkill or Mushkin DDR3-1600 ram

Does it support a Raid configuration and what is the maximum amount of ram can it be installed?

Not sure about the answer to the raid question (tentative yes but seek confirmation elsewhere). It does have 4 RAM slots so it can support up to 64GB of RAM depending on what you put in.

I would like to know the differences between the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 LGA 1150 Intel Z97 vs the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 LGA 1150 Intel Z97? please, I see that they have almost the same specs (the main difference so far that I see is the fact that the ports have gold, and that the 7 supports more fans) but I want to be 100% sure about this, please provide me with this information. Thanks in advance!

The Gaming 7 has a few audio improvements over the Gaming 3 (better capacitors for audio), better capacitors for the CPU, and some neat features for overclocking. They should both overclock well if that's your goal, but the 7 has more features that may be useful or fun to play with in that endeavor (I've yet to overclock, so can't really comment on that).

How does one determine what video card to purchase for this motherboard?

You can use pretty much any PCI-E video card that your heart desires.  Narrowing down the choice comes down to what you'll be doing with this motherboard.  For the games I play I chose a Radeon R9 290.

from what i know, in the specifications it doesnt not support error correcting memory. so basically non-ecc ram is supported. not really sure if it supports the ecc. (but theres no reason to put ECC ram in this board anyway. its not really a heavy duty server station or especially meant for fragile material. its a good budget gaming board.

Truly I don't know.  Can't find any info on it either.  It's a damn fine dual bios mobo. Fast as hell, easy to set up, and pretty. It has led's on board.  I love mine.

No, it only supports 2-way SLI. It can support 3-way Crossfire, but only in a PCIe x8+x4+x4 setup. SLI needs at least x8 PCIe lanes per card to work.

Does this MOBO support a wireless internet card?

I am not super techie, but, I would imagine your asking about a PCI-e X1 or a USB? I would say it should. Also keep in mind space. depending on how many video cards you will use along with sound cards, space might be a factor.
