forgive me but is the LAN connection the same as the ethernet connection?

in short yes they are the same thing.as an example if you have more then one pc plugged into a hub/router you can ''Lan'' ''local area connection'' them together. the ethernet is the cable you use to plug into said hub/router either way as long as your plugged into a router you will have internet :) hope this helped.

Recommended psu? The manufacturer does not state it on their website and it does not show anywhere in the manual and on the support pages.

The PSU that is best for you will depend on which components you are using, not just the motherboard. For instance, this motherboard can support up to six hard drives, I believe, and whether you have one hard drive or multiple hard drives (as well as which type of hard drive it is) will dramatically affect your power usage. I'm not sure if anyone has a better answer for you or not, but I used pcpartpicker dot com as my primary resource in my build. It is a site that helps computer builders find the best price on their components and make sure everything is compatible before you buy.
Whether you have the components yet or not, you can select which components are used in the computer, and it will tell you the estimated wattage. It's better to overestimate how much power you need rather than to underestimate it. The site also has ratings and forums that can help you choose a PSU or any other component.

Hi does this motherboard bios come updated ? or do i need to update the bios to work with am3+ with a amd FX-8350 FX-Series 8-Core

I had to update mine, i just used the disk that it comes with so it was a piece of cake. Only problem was before the update there seemed to be problems with booting off an ssd, but after I updated the bios its worked like a dream.

I upgraded to this board along with an FX9590 and now I have system freezes. Never happen before. Same windows 10 and same video card(GTX 960). I have tried everything including a fresh install. Does anyone have an idea?

I would check two things.

1.  Do you have the thermal compound properly installed?  Re-apply the compound between the CPU and your heatsink.

2.  If the above is installed properly, you could try upgrading your BIOS to F2, although I haven't heard any issues of compatibility with FX9590 and F1.

My gut tells me it's running hot.  Make sure you have the proper cooling to handle it, as well as properly applied thermal compound.

Can You use this mobo to install a liquid cooled system? My case is spec'd for it but I don't see any information about it here

The mobo has nothing to do with whether or not you can liquid cool. Most sealed liquid cooler pumps just run on the standard CPU fan power from the mobo, which pretty much all mobo's have. If you have a standalone pump that runs - that may require your PSU to power it.

But to answer your question: yes.

Case dimensions are usually the only limiting factor for liquid cooling which determines the size of the radiator/fan set up.

It should.  I currently use a PCIe Radeon HD 6870 video card in mine and it works great!

Question 10

Has anyone else had an issue with the USB ports on this mobo while using Windows 10? I have the most up to date drivers I can find, and Windows doesn't find any issues with them. However, I have issues with some peripherals not being recognized. Usually it's the wireless adapter (Netgear N300), but once in a while the mouse will go dead too. It doesn't seem to matter which port I use, or whether or not I use the adapter's dock or plug it directly into the USB port.

Andrew, I don't think it has anything to do with the mobo. I have the N300 router myself and have used it with many different mobos from different manufactures. No problems when using ethernet cable. When using matching wireless thumbdrive so I can go wireless, I have always encountered problems with disconnections, driver not recognized, driver not loading up or fail to stay connected, freezing, and slow. I realize this probably doesn't help your problem, but this is the problems that I have had in the past when trying to turn a non-integrated wireless mobo into wireless by using a wireless adapter. The Netgear Wireless N300 router, I have had no problems with.
