Can you use a discrete video card(s) (pcie) in conjunction with the integrated graphics (via cpu; i5-2400 3.10ghz) on the ga-b75m-d3h?

I can't answer you question, because I have not tried to configure my motherboard that way. Perhaps you can go on to the Gigabyte website and see if this configuration is possible.

Question 2

What power supply should be used for this board? Can a 20 pin beused or must a 24 pin? Suggestions for power supplies?

I built this PC a year and a half ago, still running strong, using this supply:

FSP450-60GHS(85)-R

Plug that part number into the newegg search, since I can't paste a direct link my response.

It has a 24-pin interface. I would assume you want to stick to the 24-pin, since you don't know if the additional power and ground pins you would be missing on the 20-pin interface are needed by the motherboard.

Question 3

Has anyone tried using Acronis True Image with a system using this board?  Acronis True Image will create the restore image, but when I boot to the Acronis restore CD, the program cannot find the  HDD.  (It says none is connected.)  I have been using Seagate DiscWizard (a free version of Acronis for use w/ Seagate HDDs) for 4-5 years on Intel boards, but got this one now since Intel has abandoned the desktop board market.

If you are using Acronis to back up a system built around this board, I suggest you try the restore process to be sure that it will work.  Please let me know how your test turns out.

I use acronis true image 2012, 2013, 2014 versions with this board and haven't has any issues with it. Do you  have ACHI mode enabled for your sata drives?

Does it have wifi?

The motherboard is not equipped with Wifi. You would need to purchase a USB wifi adapter in order for your computer to receive a WIFI connection from your router.

No..
All AMD cpu's require a AMD socket of the appropriate generation. In the case of the FX-8350 the socket type is stated in the description of that cpu (AM3+). This motherboard is an Intel cpu motherboard (socket 1155) for Intel cpu's.
When you are viewing motherboards you should see many filtering options on the left side of the page, under socket type select (AM3+) or simply select motherboards for AMD cpu's.

Question 6

Will a Gigabyte GTX 760 fit in the pci 3.0 slot. It looks really close to the ram slots, and the GTX 760 is kind of a big card? Just wonder before I buy it.

It should fit without issue.  Remember, most of the mass on those cards are on the 'bottom'.

Will GA-B75M-D3H support the i7 processor?

It is an LGA1155 socket, therefore any CPUs with that configuration will work. There are i3, i5 and i7 (3770 and 3770k Ivy Bridge) CPUs that will work with this board. I am assuming you are asking which one to use? Due to cost constraints I used an i3 3320. I had no issues with installation and is extremely fast for what I do. You can use an i5 and up to an i7 with this motherboard. Generations just means its better than the first and shouldn't matter as long as its LGA 1155. If you have the budget get the i5 saves money in the long run.

Does the system fan have a 3-pin or 4-pin connection?

I don't have the system open, but the manual says it has a four pin header.  In my system I don't use one, the CPU fan keeps the CPU at ~32 degrees C and the SDD & HDD run about 35 degrees.

As should be shown through the (More Resources) section on the right side of the product page [GA-B75M-D3H CPU Compatibility]
every socket 1155 Intel CPU will work in this motherboard, including the socket 1155 Xeon CPUs.

As is common with most other PCI Express 3.0 motherboards, you must use an Ivy Bridge class CPU in order to take advantage of the faster PCI Express 3.0 communication speed - otherwise the slot will default to standard PCI Express 2.x - however this has no impact on graphics card compatibility unless the GPU manufacturer has not designed backwards compatibility in their PCI-E 3 card.
