Question 1

Received this mobo yesterday running with a AMD A10- 7860K.  Will not post/beep.  New 700 watt PSU.
Any ideas?

I always keep a power supply tester around just in case. Have bought new ones DOA. Try process of elimination. I would detach every thing except absolute necessary items to boot the board and display a basic image. check the c-mos battery jumper, and that all power connector are seated properly. If you have more than one memory module remove one, try it, if no response try the other. Of course it is very important the processor is seated correctly and the processor fan is plugged in.

My granddaughters  9, 11, 13 put mine together and didn't get one of the connectors seated. Sort of freeked me out at first. So many other things it could be hope this hepls

What memory modules can be used to get the 64 G memory capacity this motherboard is supposed to support ?  ( The memory finders on Cosair and Crucial websites don't list any modules that support 64 G total memory.)

How is this board for over clocking?

I cannot answer this question directly, for I do not over clock. However in the BIOS section when I was looking, their is an auto overclock (sort of speak), so in any case you will not harm the board or any other items you have connect. On another note, of my friends who do over clock, I have herd nothing bad.

Question 5

Thinking about pairing this board with the AMD A10-7860K with AMD Quiet Cooler.  Is there clearance for the cooler with the other components on the board and also the ARES F3-1600C9D-8GAB memory sticks?

Yes, It should be no problem fitting these components.  I have installed 32GB of memory (16GB Crucial Ballistix and 16GB GSkill RipJaws) with the 760K AMD CPU, a massive cooler (Thermalright Thermalright Archon IB-E X2),  and the EVGA 01G-P3-1556-KR GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Fermi) video card with no problems.

Does this mobo need an BIOS update to be used with a Kaveri gpu?

It comes updated and ready to go.  Some boards may need a bios update to support the kaveri APU.  Be carefull when updating or doing anything to this board as it is not fault tolerante in any way.  There is no way to reflash this board if you make a mistake. If you plan to add additional GPUs be cautious, it will only support 3 additional cards and you will need to add them in a specific order.

does this motherboard support  AMD A8-7650K with AMD quiet cooler Quad-Core Socket FM2+ 95W AD765KXBJASBX Desktop Processor AMD Radeon R7?

Hi Tony....Yes it will, but I wouldn't use the A8-7650K APU even if it is a good price at $80.00  I would add another $25.00 and purchase the A10-7860K APU at $105.00 .  I use both of these and 
very happy with either, the A10-7860 is a much more powerful APU.  Read up on both APU's,
look at the future and then decide, you can't go wrong with either.

Will this MB work with A-10 Kavari processors?

I just purchased the  AMD A10-7700K Kaveri 10 Compute Cores  with this board and it works just fine.  I'm using it with Flight Simulator X steam and all graphics full maxed out, I've had no problems.

Question 9

The specs say the DVI-D port will not support D-Sub with an adapter.  Will it support VGA with an adapter?

It does have one VGA port. If you have two VGA monitors the DVI-D port will not support your 2nd monitor, it will only support a digital monitor on the DVI-D port, there are no adapters to make it do so.

Trying to figure out what case to buy that will fit this motherboard any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

That's just a personal preference, any of the manufactures cases will work as long as its specified that its an ATX size case. I like the MID size cases. There a quite a few nice ones to choose from at a reasonable price.
