They should I have not personally bought this brand but all the ones that I have boughten use the same usb receiver simultaneously

It should work the same with any computer model. Make sure your operating system supports the software drivers (when you plug in the usb attachment this will happen automatically).

Short of that, check that you have new battery in the mouse.

Negative, they both use Triple AAA batteries. This is a fairly good wireless keyboard and mouse and are easily portable.

Yes I am using one with Windows 10, plug it in with the old keyboard and mouse still hooked up at 1st so windows can load the drivers. If you are dong a new install just use the new unit, windows will use it to start with.

I am using windows 10 pro and mine works fine.  Reinstall the drivers and if that doesn't work, you may just have a faulty key.

I have a light above the Pause key, next to the num lock, etc.
