Is this the same as Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini ITX, which I saw in a lot of reviews?

The US version of the Gigabyte website has 2 versions of this card. One is OC(overclocked) and one is Rev. 1(Revision 1?). The little sticker on the back of the box says both. After installing Gigabyte's Xtreme Gaming Engine software and playing with some settings(gaming setting versus overclock setting) the numbers for base clock and boost clock line up with the faster OC version. Pretty sure that is the one most tech sites wrote about and reviewed. This card is as fast or faster in pretty much every case compared to the previous mini itx champ, R9 Fury Nano from AMD. Since I just read a report that Vega won't be released until the end of July at Siggraph 2017(July 30th-August 3rd), it seems this is the most powerful mini-itx card of both 2016 and the first half of 2017 for sure.

is there a definite answer as to weather SLI is supported or not, and if so do I need a different SLI connector or can I use one from an earlier Geforce series card? Witch also begs the question if it does, then why for this kind of money wouldn't they include one with the card?

Yes SLi is supported with a high bandwidth bridge like the 1080.

How are the temps and the noise?

As always, thermals will depend on factors other than just the GPU card.  Builds in small form factor cases, notably the Cooler Master Elite 110, report GPU temperatures with this card in the 80-85C range.  The Elite 110 build done by LinusTechTips (in which airflow was obstructed) was reported at 90C.

8 pin, or you can use a 6 + 2 pin(That is what I use).

Can this drive 4k TV @ 60hz?

The card itself has the capabilities. Displayport 1.4 can run a 4K Monitor/TV at up to 120Hz and HDMI 2.0b can run it at up to 60Hz, as far as I know only the Dual Link DVI-D connectors do not support 4K 60Hz with the max resolution for 60Hz being 2560x1600.
Now it only depends on what you're doing with the PC because some games will probably not run in permanent 60 FPS on highest settings.

Question 7

How many monitors will this card support? I see 4 possible ports, but since it only has 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort, I'm thinking it can't support more than maybe 2?

If you read the specs, you will see that it supports four simultaneous monitors, which is standard for a GTX 1070.

How does this compare in performance to the R9 Nano?

It will, on average, be 10-15 percent faster.
In some DirectX 12 and Vulkan games, their performance will be the same.

How much worse does this perform than a full-size 1070?

When gaming, you will notice NO difference in performance! The G1 Gaming Regular size has a boost clock clock on OC mode of 1822MHz as the G1 Gaming Mini has a boost clock on OC mode of 1746MHz. The G1 Gaming Reg Size @ 1822MHz will have a 1 to 5 FPS increase AT THE MOST. Most times the OC mode on the mini will go far higher than the 1746MHz advertised which is even better!
