I'd like to run two monitors, but the specs show one HDMI port. Is there a way to make this work?

You can buy a video cable that is HDMI on one end and DisplayPort on the other, buy a DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter then use a regular HDMI cable, or see if your monitor already has a DisplayPort input (most computer monitors do).

Go to nvidia dot com. Top menu select Drivers, GeForce Drivers.

Under Manual Driver Search select GeForce, GeForce 16 Series, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, Windows 10 64-bit (assuming you are using Windows 10), and click Start Search. You want the top WHQL driver listed in the results.

Yes - 8pin power is required. It will not function with 6-pin power.

Yes it will support 4k, but for gaming this card is great for 1080p and 1440p.  It can play games in 4k, but you'll have to lower other settings do get a good performance.

Why is this model slightly preferred over the non-Windforce version? That one has a higher core clock too.

When you overclock it generates heat. The card with Windforce can handle the heat better. If you are doing graphics intensive stuff, even not overclocked the extra fans will help the card last longer and be more reliable. I got the 3 fan version and it is WELL worth the extra $20 (at time of answering the question)

Will this card support Ray Tracing?

If you are referring to Ray tracing cores this card does not have any but the short answer is a bit more mixed than that. Ultimately it can kind of support ray tracing but it doesn't work very well. Its like sudo ray tracing you are likely to get many decreased frames at lower qualities of ray tracing. So ultimately this card already, and many other older/Pascal cards Support ray tracing just not nearly as good as cards with RT cores.

I am using 2 old monitors that have DVI-D. The card does not say that the DP ports are DP++, but it seems many cards provide this and don't bother to specify. Has anyone out there used a passive dp to dvi adapters with this card, or am I going to have to get the active adapters? There is a big price difference. Thank you.

Hello Eric,

Based on the information you provided it sounds like you will likely need an active adapter since you are converting a digital signal (DP) to analog (DVI) and using passive connectors can have mixed results in that regard.  If you needed more technical information about the video output specs of the card I would reach out to Gigabyte for further assistance since they will know for sure whether or not you will need an active or passive adapter.

But yes, assuming this is a DP++ port, you should be able to use a passive adapter without any issues, hope this helps!
