There are no adapters with it only HDMI, DisplayPort, and a USB C connector.  You should purchase adapter beforehand or upgrade monitor to 144 hertz gaming screen.

Is it mandatory to have a graphics card for simple gaming like overwatch, skyrim, or fallout ? I heard it was optional use for dual monitor play and/or streaming.

It is necessary to have some kind of graphics card for simple gaming, it just doesn't have to be a very expensive high end graphics card. I first tried to play skyrim regular edition on the pc years ago without a graphics card and just using on-board graphics chip, it pretty much refused to run at all even on the lowest settings. 
A cheap graphics card like the nvidia 750ti will run all of those games you listed but only on low settings to get 60 frames per second on 720p resolution and is less than 100$ for reference, it's what I used to have until recently. Cards that old are still at a high price compared to the little performance it gives simply because those cards aren't made anymore though.
TL;DR: yes you need a graphics card

I doubt you can change it at this point, but if you were to be able to, you would need to contact Nvidia as the promotion is being run on their platform, and Newegg can not make edits to that.

will this fit in my Corsair Crystal 570X RGB case ?

The RTX 2070 card is a full 11.5 inches long.  Should be no problem for you if you are using air cooling.  But If you are installing the water cooling shown as an option for  the Corsair Crystal case, it will probably fit so long as the water cooling fans and radiator are not more than  two, or possibly 2.5 inches thick..  Note also that the rtx 2070 is air cooled, so air flow must be considered.  My system runs Linux Mint 19,  a Zalman fulll tower with six fans, an AMD R7 Ryzen 1700, with 16GB memory, 1 TB SSD, and the RTX 2070 card - all air cooled and I don't seem to have any issues.  RTX is a fine video card.

No it would not be able to connect like that. You need to have it connected to a computer board with power going to the card, then have the computer connected to the monitor.
