No, Please check the form factor under specification page. It says 2.5 slot width, that means it is a 2 slot card, but you need 2.5 space for it. You have to give some space to the card, so there is enough airflow going through.

I used a 600w Seagate Titanium Fanless and this video card works great. No issues whatsoever. However, I will say that Gigabyte recommends that a power supply of 650w or more be used, but I haven’t had any issues with mine.

I sleep within 3 feet of my computer. Does this coil whine only occur when driving hard, or also at idle? Do the GPU fans run at idle?

Mine is silent. The fans does not spin until they reach certain temperature. My other components are louder.

It’s a non-blower style cooler on this card which does output the heat inside the case however if you have good circulation and cooling it will perform better than a blower style one.

Personally I have had zero issues with heat with this card.

I have a K280 cooler master mid tower, that says it has a 12.4 in space for graphics cards, specs say the GPU is shorter than 12 inches. I am still worried it will fit assuming the right motherboard?

if you measure from the flat surfaces at both ends, its more like 11 inches.
