is this compatible with a ddr4 motherboard?

Yes, DDR 4 is the latest version to run on mobo's.
Normally video cards have nothing to do with motherboard type of memory, as long as you have a suitable PCIe slot on you board, preferably a 16x slot, you should be good to go. Lot of cash to shell out, but this particular card's design is awesome, and you be hard pressed to find one like it with a  (4) year warranty.

no, only the "Extreme" version has the back plate lighting, everything else seems to be the same.

How loud is it?

Not very loud unless you are playing graphically intense games. Then you don't hear it until you close the game. It doesn't take long to cool. I play Battlefield V and Far Cry New Dawn at 4K with pretty cranked up graphics.  It is about twice as loud as my case fans at it's loudest. Otherwise you can run it with fans off.

I don't believe it does, but Gigabytes AORUS app as OC features, but I use MSI Afterburner, as its the best out there. AB allows for default settings, and (5) OC profiles to be saved. Plus AB has OC Scanner that works on RTX cards only, it runs a 15 minute test, and creates a One-Click OC that can be saved to an AB profile.
When you have great tools like Afterburner, I don't really see the need, or any real advantage for a card with dual-bios. This card has great stock cooling, a ton of display outputs, and a (4) year warranty if you register at Gigabyte.

What is the safe zone temp for this card?

Anything below your set point for temp, which defaults to. 80c.my machine sits at 40c idle and with fans off and. 60 under load with fans on.

Does this include a support bracket?

No it doesnt some case do my Evolvo X did but it has weight to it but if you have a board where the lanes are reinforced you should be ok. Mine is good i didnt use the bracket on my because they give to me with tie clips and i was like there should be a better way to mount it. But no bracket!
