Can I connect 3 monitors (1 hdmi and the 2 are displayport) to this card and get all three working?

Yes, there is an easy to follow input diagram that comes in the box with the card, 2DP and 1 HDMI is possible (source: that's my setup)

wondering if anyone elses Aorus 2080 gets SUPER loud? I mean this thing sounds like an RC race car at full speed when temps get into the 80s. I get daily notifications on CAM that my temps exceed 81c even when playing games like overwatch. It kind of freaks me out and deters me from playing games. My old 970 wasnt even half as loud

Mine does get audible at max fan speed. It’s not that often, however. I have mine in a Phanteks Evolv X case, so whatever I do hear, isn’t enough to bother me.

What is the difference between this and the non xtreme edition?

The Short answer is the Xtreme is a little faster.
The longer answer is the xtreme is made with bin processors  which is able to handle overclocking
TU104-400-A1 are Normal Chips (no factory OC permitted).
TU104-400A-A1 are Binned Chips (factory OC permitted).

if you plan to run it "as is" then the regular version will be fine..

if you want just a little more power or like to ..."play" .. with overclocking ..go for the xtreme.

there might be more to it but i dont get into direct number crunching,,,im a bit lazy.

Question 6

Are there any core or boost clock numbers? Seems like it should be 1860-1890 but I wouldn't buy a GPU without knowing important numbers like that

I just took two screen shots. One of the CAM data at idle and another after a  30 min. Battlefield 5 session. (All settings to: Ultra)  I can't get the pictures up in this reply window but it shows at idle:
(GPU Core clock Min.=300MHz Max.= 1515MHz  @ 27C)    After 30min Gamming session = 
(GPU Core Clock Min.=300MHz Max.= 1995MHz @ 61C )   I hope this helps?  Also,  GPU Memory showed a Min. of  405MHz and Max of 7069MHz.    Everything in my PC is bone stock.  I have not overclocked anything CPU, GPU,  or RAM)

The Graphics Amplifier holds a double slot card. This card takes 2.5 slots. If there’s still room for this to fit, go nuts!

Question 8

How do you change modes from 3x Display port and 1x HDMI to 3x HDMI and 1x Display port??  No instructions anywhere.  I have 2x HDMI connected right now and it doesn't work, only 1 shows up.

It should automatically switch over depending on if you have 2 or more connections on either Displayport or HDMI
