I have a 500w PSU, will I be okay?

What is the brand and rating of the PSU? Also, how many other hardware components you have in the machine? (Like how many hard drives, optical drives, other add on cards, etc.) You would definitely want to make sure it is atleast a bronze rated power supply. 500 Watt bronze PSU should be sufficient if you just have basic other needed hardware. Most times, if the power supply is not big enough to power everything, you will not get any display. Or if you do get display the PSU might go bad in a very short time of use. I haven't seen a under powered PSU kill a video card, but it is possibly and something to take into consideration. This video card I am just running it with a 650 watt Bronze rated PSU. Also in the machine it has 2 hard drives, and 1 optical drive. No other cards

I have a 400w power supply. Will this card work?

It may work but I highly recommend getting a 500 watt or more power supply. The card requires way to much power to use that small of a power supply and may damage your board if you use the 400 watt. I got this 700 watt power supply " RAIDMAX Blackstone series RX-700AC 700W Continuous Power ATX12V V2.3 / EPS12V V2.91 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply " it has run great for the past year. Please, someone tell me the size of this thing so i can know if it fits in my case?

I have a Thor case (huge!) and it barely fits behind the drive bays. And you have to keep in mind how it'll fit on your mobo because it takes two slots and you don't want to block something else. Like an expensive game of Tetris.

How loud is this card?  I had bought a EVGA GTX 760 and had to return it because it sounded like a vacuum cleaner

The three fans provide exceptional cooling, but not at the expense of noise. 3 can run at a lower speed to achieve even lower temps than two fans.  Mine sounds like a 747 on take-off for about 5 seconds on boot & then turns to a whisper quite mode.  My cpu  is water cooled (necessary for my needs).  The two fans providing the cooling for the CPU are much louder than my graphics card...to a point where this card is actually inaudible.  I do a lot of video processing.  This unit is cooler and quieter than my two previous ASUS cards. A contributing factor to it's low noise, IMHO, is the very, very low mass of the fan blades.  Others complained about how "flimsy" they are, but light weight makes them almost silent.  This unit is well made.  The other factor is the case:  full tower, Cooler Master, HAF.  This case quiets everything & is often not considered when evaluating the noise emanating from our PC when running at speed.

Will I be able to use this video card on a 500 watt power supply? My processor is an AMD fx 4130 3.8 ghz quad core, I have 8 gb ram, a 1 TB HDD, and 1 DVD RW drive.

Brett I would not recommend it, for this type card and what you have I would recommend a 850 at min. Do a google search for a "Power Supply Calculator".  This a calculator that will give you an idea if your 500w PS will work.
I really like this video card and it does exactly what I need it to do, plus it is very quiet!

I have a 750 PSU will that be enough to handle this?

It should run just fine.  I myself have a 720 Watt power supply and have no issues whatsoever.  Also note that I have an AMD FX 9370 which is a 220 watt CPU.  You should be good to go. Hope this helps!

What is the recommended power supply with this card? And what are the power requirements for the card alone?

With power supplies being one of the less expensive parts of a build nowadays I would suggest no less than a 750w power supply with a single 12v rail. I use a 1000w and have a lot of peripherals and fans and such in my build and have no worries about power. Hope this helped Ya.

gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 mother board and Corsair CX750W Modular PSU. Will I be able to use this card? I think the PSU will be fine but I am concerned about the MB.

Your Gigabyte motherboard should be sufficient. I myself am running this graphics card on a similar motherboard without any noticeable issues. As for your PSU, you have plenty of power there. The only problem I have is the card is extremely heavy, and without any support the card can be moved vertically about 2 inches. Also, make sure you have a long enough case, as this beast is over a foot long.

Is this compatible in an AMD FX environment?

The short answer is yes, completely. 
The slightly longer answer is that their is some supposed "compatibility" issues, but those are always conjecture on a system that's having problems and I've never seen any hard or honestly any quantifible data. Did think it would be worth though, for what it's worth.

What is the size of this gfx card?  I want to measure the inside of my pc before order

It's close to 11.6" (295mm)- you need room between the back of the case and your drive bays.  I had to move my hard drives around so the HD cables wouldn't interfere with the back of the card.
