Do you think a 680W PSU will be fine with this card?

Hi, It all depends on the quality of the PSU and the Amps on the 12V Rail. With that in mind, it should be enough to run a good PC. I am using a 650W PSU to run mine. i5, 8gRam, 2 HDD, 1 SDD, gtx 770, H60 cooling. Question 2

Right now, I have a 750w PSU, FX-8150, 8gigs of ram at 1333Mhz, a GTX 560, and lots of fans.  I upgraded to this card but I am unsure if I will have enough PSU.  If my current PSU proves insufficient, which PSU should I get for a replacement to use with this card in my system?

That's more than enough. Probably enough for two of them, honestly. One of the most common misconceptions people make when building a system is massively overestimating power consumption IMHO.

The 770 under load uses 200W + 130W or w/e for the CPU leaves you with plenty of headroom. Fans and RAM use very little power.

Question 3

Will I really need a 600W PSU for this? I'm currently running a 550W, and using a calculator, my total usage with this card would come to about 475W. Will I need a larger PSU for this even though it's within limits?

My system with the 770 only draws about 350w total, or ~250w from the 770, at full graphical load. Yours should be enough. Though, you should  make sure that your PSU is of good quality. If it cannot handle the load, you may smell the "burning electronics" smell coming from the PSU. If that occurs, you may need to upgrade.

Also make sure you have enough clearance in the case, and decent airflow. This card does warm the inside of the case quite a bit.

Question 4

What is the power demands of this card? So if i have 2 what PSU would i need?

As the product description says, one of these cards requires a 450W power supply minimum. If you want to run 2 of the cards in SLI, it would be a good idea to be running them off a PSU with at least 700W, but depending on the power consumption of other components in your computer it may be a good idea to get a PSU that outputs even more power.

The pictures here on Newegg show that it requires an 8-pin and a 6-pin power connector, but I was checking the main Gigabyte website and they showed it having 2 8-pin power connectors.  Which one is correct?

it has a 6 pin and a 8 pin. definitely want to consider that when buying your psu.

I'm able to play crysis 3 at max settings and its plays great. When I play Titanfall it looks like crap at max settings is this normal with this graphics card or not?

It's impossible to tell for sure without knowing what the rest of your rig is like, as well as what resolution and settings you're currently running.

On a 770, everything being ideal, 1080p on high settings should run just fine. Update your drivers and ensure that everything else on your rig is up to spec.

I haven't really run into any issues playing any games on this card, keep in mind that a 770 is just a 680 with some smaller dies and slightly faster clocks, so it should be strong enough for Titanfall at darn good settings.

You're rolling with a powerful power supply and a micro ATX. You're fine. If you have a metric ton of harddrives hooked up, you may have issues, otherwise, play ball.

Is a Cougar 1000cmx good enough to run this video card?

Yes, that power supply unit provides 1000 watts of power; it is more than sufficient to power the gtx 770. My rig has a 770, and I easily get by with a 750 watt PSU. If you already own the Cougar 1000cmx, then go ahead and use it. But if you haven't purchased a PSU yet, then you can save some money by dropping down to a 750 watt one. I personally use Corsair Essential Series TX750 Power Supply.

Question 10

My system is double booting after installing the card. It'll boot up, turn off after 2 seconds, then boot up again and post. Is this a driver compatability issue?

More than likely your bios settings. If you just installed the card and it's doing this, likely bios not drivers as drivers don't even matter until after system has booted.

Sounds like maybe BIOS is set to automatically detect your display. So, when you boot it checks to see if your display is plugged to default, your motherboard/built in graphics on the chip. When it doesn't see the display, it reboots and checks your PCIe lane for graphics card. If you have monitor plugged into your video card, try setting bios display settings for PCI/PEG first or only display. If this doesn't work, make sure your card is seated and VGA power cables are properly plugged in.

If that fails to fix the prob, may have to reset your bios/CMOS and redo your settings.
