No. The manual says "1x USB Type-C (5V/2A)" which matches my experience with the monitor. It will charge a phone slowly, but will not charge a laptop.

Question 1

The answer about GSYNC compatible above doesn't make sense. This monitor either is or it's not. Someone to confirm?

Matias, most monitor manufacturers won't actually certify their product as G-Sync compatible because it costs a lot of money and they have to pay royalties to Nvidia (which is stupid) but most companies still make their products compatible with G-Sync "unofficially".  I would make sure a previous user/purchaser confirms it works. BTW AMD does not charge a fee for listing monitor as Free-Sync compatible. Its open source. Go AMD!

Question 2

in the specs it says FreeSync Premium Pro. but I see it listed as just freesync premium else where. it being pro makes a huge diffrence as it lets hdr and freesync work at the same time. If its not premium pro is there a way to contact newegg to remove it from the listing? so that it has the righ info

HDR isn't worth using on any display without an FALD backlight and at least a couple hundred dimming zones, and even more if it's IPS. You need several times the color volume of this panel to get a good HDR experience.

G-Sync Compatible Ready? NVIDIA doesn't have this monitor listed as "G-Sync Compatible Ready." I also don't see it listed under specs on Gigabyte's page. Is it G-Sync Compatible Ready?

Dillinger, NVIDIA charges a fee/royalty anytime a manufacture want's to certify a product as "G-Sync Compatible". Most manufactures don't want to pay the fee cause it will raise the price of production so they say it's G-sync compatible but it's not certified. In most cases it will still work with G-sync but I would make sure other user confirm it works first. OR, go AMD, Free Sync is open source so no fee that's why there are way more Free-sync monitors available.

Question 4

It doesn't say it explicitly, but it seems like you can only use the KVM between a HDMI port and the USB C connection. Is it possible to KVM between 2 desktop computers, neither having USB C?

For the Keyboard & Mouse function to work you will indeed need 1 computer supporting USB-C and the other using USB-A as there are only 1 of each type on the monitor. I believe you could use the hub functionality over the USB-C without video over the cable (by hooking up another HDMI video cable) but have not confirmed this.

Has anyone tried using this with the Xbox Series X? Does it support 1440p/120fps on XSX?

Yes, the Xbox Series X should be compatible with this as it uses AMD Freesync and utilizes HDMI 2.1, which is backwards compatible with HDMI 2.0. Capabilities are primarily up to the games at this point. Some may support 120Hz at 2k or 4k, but there are very very few to say the least. Most games have been developed for both generations of consoles during this "transition" period due to limited access and affordability to purchase the new console. Due to this, most games will not be developed to fully utilize the benefits in the new console, but will rather patches released later specifically for Xbox Series X.  In the future, you can expect more and more games to play at these desired frequency/resolution settings. NOTE: The Xbox Series X does not currently support HDR at 120Hz on HDMI 2.0 and it's unknown as to whether it ever will.

The website says it has 0.5ms response time, but on the box it says 1ms response time, which one is true? Or is there a setting for it?

They both are and aren't.  I believe the box will say < 1 Ms because the ms will fluctuate or be different depending on the color the LED is trying to go from and to.  It really doesn't matter though.  The key here is, this is one of the new SS IPS displays which means you no longer have to sacrifice the MS to get a better quality picture and viewing angle.  With SS IPS displays you are guaranteed to get a MS below 1 like with TFT and VA panels but you are still getting in-plane switching (IPS).
