Will this work with this SSD: Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 512GB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 3D2 QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNW512G8XT?

This will not work with this adapter for a few reasons. 1. The keys do not fit, look at the notch in the picture. 2. The reason it is keyed (M Key) like that is because the Intel 660p is an NVMe drive that runs off of the PCIe bus without compatibility to run on a SATA interface. 3. Even if the above were not true, it would slow down the drive to SSD speeds instead of the rated speeds because SATA 3.0 can only run at around 500 to 600MBps. The form factor of the Intel 660p of the M.2 2280 IS the correct form factor for this though, so if you have an M.2 2280 SATA SSD (either B Key, or B+M Key), it will fit into this. And don't feel bad about being confused about this, It causes even enthusiasts to get tripped up every now and then.
