Two ways to judge the motherboard supports the PCIe Bifurcation
- Chipset
- Intel platform: X299/C422/C621/Z390/Z370/Z490/Z590/Z690/X99
- AMD platform: TRX40/X399/X570/X470/B550/B450/Z590
Noted: Except for the PCI-E lane for the GPU, make sure the available PCI-E lane support PCIe splitting.
2. BIOS setting
- If allocation PCIe lane is X16 bandwidth, please setup X4X4X4X4 or X4X4X8 mode
- If allocation PCIe lane is X8 bandwidth, please setup X4X4
Noted
- Different motherboards have different PCIe splitting settings, you can check the motherboard manual before operation. Or you can consult us via Amazon.
- X8X4X4 mode can not recognize 2 M.2 PCIe SSD, please setup X4X4X4X4 or X4X4X8 mode
