I got 5 fans for my 24 bay Supermicro 4U case with X10 motherboard. I had to adjust fan minimum speed thresholds in the BIOS as these fans spin at lesser RPM that the original ones. Otherwise they would constantly ramp up and down, but this is motherboards fault. Now you can't even hear my system is running.

Adequate is an understatement. Clean lines and NO LEDS. Has held firm no matter what I throw at it. Some complain about noise which I can notice over the sound of the other fans I my system. No fear of leakage flowing over my RTX 2080. It is a larger HSF than most so check your case specs before ordering. The HSF is pretty heavy at 2.5 pounds +/-.
