Does this docking station have any lights that turn on to indicate power is on/off?

The docking station has a single light that does indicate when power is on. It is blue when energized, but also flashes a pinkish color while actively accessing the drive. I purchased this particular device because it is compatible with Linux as well as Windows machines. Windows 7 (x64) in my case.

Can this docking station perform quick file transfers?
