How do refunds/credits work? How is a refund/credit applied? Does Newegg offer in-store credit?

Most credits will be charged back to the original method of payment within the refund period.

Approximately how long will it be before a refund/credit actually appears on my credit/debit card?

It takes us approximately two business days to process a credit back to your credit card and 2-3 business days for it to appear on your statement.

Marketplace: In general, a Newegg Marketplace seller will issue credit only after it inspects the returned item. Check the Seller's Policy Page for the policies of individual Marketplace sellers. In the event of a conflict between Newegg's return policies and those on a Seller's Policy Page, the Seller's Policy Page return polices shall apply to your orders from that seller.

The shipping carrier has returned my order/package to Newegg. What happens now?

Once we receive the package, we'll credit your credit card back in full, including any shipping costs you may have paid. If you paid via check or money order, we'll send you a check for the full amount.

A Return Merchandise Authorization number will then be automatically generated by our system, and an email notification will be sent to notify you of the returned merchandise.

Note: Company checks, cashier's checks, personal checks, money orders and bill payments will no longer be accepted after 3/1/12.
