Quietly illuminating
Pros: Fits the socket 1200 motherboard perfectly. Provides nice illumination while cooling the operation of the processor.
Cons: Does not install itself.
Overall Review: This cpu cooler fits nicely over a socket 1200 processor (Intel i5 10400) and provides excellent cooling according to Core Temp. Installation was simple and straightforward with no push pins involved. Instead the cooler is held in place by four screws, which is the only cooler configuration that I wish to deal with. It quietly and competently fulfills its duties and looks great in the process. It also comes with an adapter to use with AMD motherboards. The cooler looks nice in white with the colorful lights.
Shhhh
Pros: Quietest case I have ever owned. The others include Antec and NZXT. Easy to work in and very quiet.
Cons: The only con is that the case will not allow me to find any cons.
Overall Review: This case is well worth the money. If a quiet case is what you seek, this one fits that bill.
Smoothly downloaded
Pros: Familiar software Smooth download Nice price as a Shell Shocker
Cons: No state efile (bot not actually a con)
Overall Review: Type in the activation code, as another reviewer suggested, and the download is a breeze. At least this was the case for me just a few minutes ago. It is fortunate I read the review and followed that person's suggestion to type in the activation code. Best of luck to those who also download the software. May filing your taxes be less painful.
Excellent motherboard
Pros: Relatively easy to work with. Nice lights. Three m.2 slots. Windows 11 drivers readily available online. Plenty of fan connections.
Overall Review: This is my second review of this motherboard. My first review was only two stars, but I submitted it too soon and have since greatly changed my opinion. Unable to edit my first review, I simply chose to delete it and compose this one instead. My current build is this motherboard with a 10th generation Intel i5 processor and 16 gb of ram. For several months I have been using the machine and have encountered no issues whatsoever. The lights are very nice, and they can be turned off in the bios. The three m.2 slots were an immediate attraction for me but the first requires an 11th generation processor and a 4th generation drive, so that slot will need to wait until it is time to upgrade. The other two m.2 slots are functioning fine. For those who need multiple fan connections, this motherboard certainly has them. Overall, this has been a reliable motherboard for me and has shown me that ASRock makes a pretty good product for those of us who choose to assemble our own desktops. In fact, this purchase led me to purchase a Steel Legend ASRock motherboard for my other build. My review of that one is five stars as well. May your computing remain enjoyable.
Excellent product so far
Pros: Easy to work with. Nice lights. Plenty of fan ports (for those fans of fans).
Cons: Windows 11 is not included as a bonus. It's not available as "Buy One Get One."
Overall Review: This motherboard is a replacement for a motherboard (from another manufacturer) that stubbornly refused to update to Windows 11. This motherboard has far more power and capability than I currently need, but you never know what you might get interested in down the line. It currently runs a Pentium Gold processor with 16 gb of ram, and the machine runs smoothly and reliably. With Windows 11 on a usb drive, getting everything set up was smooth and painless. The motherboard has three m.2 slots, which was part of the reason for my purchase. The first such slot requires a 4th generation drive and an 11th generation processor, neither of which I have currently, but that allows for updating down the road. The motherboard also has plenty of fan ports for those who need such access. If this motherboard is any indication, ASRock makes a nice product that is reasonably priced and that feeds our need to assemble our own machines. For years I have used motherboards of only one other manufacturer, but now I appreciate having branched off and found another reliable source. Choice is good.
Excellent product
Pros: Simple ti install. Works immediately without installing any extra drivers.
Cons: Could we change the red light to blue?
Overall Review: If you would like to install an extra m.2 drive but have no extra slot on the motherboard, this card is your answer. Simply install your m.2 drive on the card (screw included), install the card in the computer, plug the power cord back in, and turn on your machine. Away you go with extra m.2 storage that Windows recognizes without a hitch. The process could not be simpler and the card has a reasonable price.
