Pros: Micro transmitter system is nice, just leave it in and forget about it. I use this mouse, the K340 keyboard and an HDMI cable to remote my laptop to my 50" plasma. Everything works perfectly. Mouse is good size and several features, best of them is that with two lithium AA batteries I don't expect to have to change the batteries, like, ever...
Cons: nothing, works great
Pros: Works well for a few minutes.
Cons: The Dyson V8 was designed with the charging port built into the handle, so when static electricity is generated, it discharges through your hand to the port. After a few minutes of use the vacuum has built up enough charge to shock you every few seconds, forcing you to hold it at an angle to avoid gripping anywhere near the port.
Overall Review: I would not recommend the V8 because of this. There is more than enough consumer outcry that a solution should have been included in the box of a new one, but instead, they just moved the port to a better location on the V10... FIrst, and last Dyson.
Second that has died on me
Pros: There are no pros to a device that died within the first hour of ownership.
Cons: The first one I bought lasted for almost three months. I thought that I had burned it up by using a car charger that out to much current. This time, I used the included USB power adapter and my computer to charge it right out of the plastic. I came back to it shutdown, and it won't power back on. WTH!
Pros: It's a 16" by 16" piece of 1/32" thick plastic connected to a coaxial cable... and it works great. I live in the city, approximately 8 miles from downtown and I've got 26 channels to watch now. I picked it up cheap, but I will buy another when I put a TV in my kid's room. Get it!
Cons: None that I can see.
Always buy ASUS
Pros: Form over function, it really nice looking. The Bang & Olufsen speaker system is the best I've ever heard in a laptop. 5.9 because of the 5400rpm hdd. That will be boosted much higher when I swap to one of my Corsair p128's that I have lying around.
Cons: Form over function. I really don't care for the keyboard. The keys are too small because they just had to stuff a number pad in there too... Feels like I'm typing on an Eee with the 10.1" screen. I had to get a Logitech wireless keyboard to save myself from carpel tunnel.
Overall Review: It's a pretty quick laptop with the i5, but I think I'll go back to a G-series for my next one.
