wwhats does 8 ms mean?

"8ms" refers to a technical specification of the monitor known as "response time."  The "ms" in "8ms" stands for milliseconds. Basically, it's a measurement of how fast the signal delivered to the monitor is translated into what's displayed on the screen. For gaming, a faster response time is desired, typically less than 5 milliseconds, and sometimes as low as 1-2ms. For general web browsing or graphics work such as Photoshop or Illustrator, a longer response time of greater than 5ms is adequate. You'll find that higher quality "IPS" displays typically have longer response times, while lower quality "TN" panels have faster response times. It's a trade off which must be considered in your research.  I hope this helped!

Matte, like most of the AH-IPS models, though with a lighter coating than was standard on many IPS monitors before 2013. The somewhat similar Dell S2414H is glossy.

Can video input work with USB, or do I need to make a VGA or Display port connection?  My computer only has USB available as a second monitor.

No you can't use the USB to work as a video connection port. The USBs act like a hub for plugging in jumpdrives, mice, keyboards, webcams, etc. If you want dual monitors you will need to get a video card that has two ports on it. They do make USB video cards, but usually a different video card is the answer.

All of the ports/connections are behind a difficult to open flap in the lower middle of the back of the display.

How Big are the bezels? seriously i have no idea. considering purchasing 3,but don't know weather the bezel would be to big

There are 2 bezel widths (on all 4 sides) as a result of the shape of the inner side (wall) of the bezel. The inner wall doesn't form a 90 degree angle with the surface of the screen. The top surface of the bezel (the flat portion that's obvious) is 19/32" (a little less than 5/8"). That tapers inward to a width of 11/16" (a little more than 5/8") at the point where it contacts the screen.

You don't really notice the difference unless you look closely. For all intents and purposes, you can describe the width of the bezel as 5/8". I can't tell you if it's "too big" or not, but it is a good monitor.
