55,000 Square Foot Mississauga Facility Will Allow Newegg.ca to Serve Its Canadian Customers with a Broader Product Selection, Competitive Pricing and Speedier Deliveries
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. – Newegg Inc., the second largest online-only e-retailer in the United States, is pleased to announce it has opened its first office and warehouse facility in Mississauga, Ontario. The opening coincided with Newegg.ca’s one-year anniversary in the Canadian market. The new facility is approximately 55,000 square feet, with the majority of the space dedicated to warehouse operations and associated functions. A special ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on November 6th, in the attendance of top Newegg executives, distinguished local officials and Canadian business partners.
Since its launch in Canada in October 2008, Newegg.ca has consistently grown its subscriber base among Canadians. The site, which features over 22,000 computer and gaming products, had more than 14,000 Canadian consumers registered even before opening for business. Today over 90,000 Canadians frequent the site for their technology needs.
