Pros: Very comfortable and supportive.
Adjustments are easy.
Assembly pretty simple; took only 10 minutes with two people.
Cons: Minor cracks in the plastic around the reclining lever. Cosmetic; doesn't affect function.
Top pillow hard to keep aligned, but maybe we're using the strap doohickey wrongly.
Cons: Thin foam on the seat
Pneumatic control mechanism attachment bolts extend out of the frame.
Backrest skewed on the left side.
The adjustable armrests are too loose.
Overall Review: If I weighed what I did in high school, this would likely be a great chair but, those days are long past. If you're much over 200Ibs I cant recommend this chair (I'm about 240lbs, btw). The padding on the seat isn't adequate to keep you off the frame. This is made worse by the length of the bolts attaching the Pneumatic control mechanism to the frame. Not only are they uncomfortable, they will eventually cut into the material and foam of the seat.
When sitting in the chair I get the sensation of being off level. I think the backrest is slanted back on the left side or, possibly, the seat is off level to the left rear. It's uncomfortable and disconcerting.
The armrests move too freely in 2 of the 3 dimentions, it would be nice if they could be locked in place.
I'd return this chair if the process wasn't so daunting and likely expensive. Perhaps I can find someone svelte and emaciated to unburden me of this mistake.
Overall Review: very comfortable. adjustable recliner back is great. Sometimes I come home and my boyfriend has moved it into his office to use while I'm at work.
