Newegg Announces Black Friday Deals, Charity Initiative and Grand Opening Plans for Newegg Hybrid Center

Black November™ Continues With Big Savings on Hot Products and a Fun Contest With the Winner Taking Home $10,000 for the Holidays

The company also announced grand opening plans for its Newegg Hybrid Center -- a Los Angeles facility where Newegg customers can demo the latest technology and digital lifestyle products.

Newegg will have more than 3,000 discounted products ready for consumers over the next two days. While the sheer volume of deals is significant, the depth of those discounts is equally impressive, such as a Polk Audio subwoofer discounted 64%, select Samsung TVs at 45% off, and even a $1,000 MartinLogan home theater speaker system selling for $149.99 -- 85% off the original price. Visitors to newegg.com can pre-order at Black Friday prices starting Wednesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. Pacific. These deals are also available on the Newegg mobile app for iOS, Android and Windows devices.

Introducing the Newegg Hybrid Center-More Than a Store
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. Friday to commemorate the opening of the Newegg Hybrid Center, followed by a grand opening celebration that runs until 3 p.m. The center's name reflects the hybrid nature of Newegg's new will-call warehouse: Not only is the facility used to pick up orders, but it also boasts an expansive showroom featuring the latest tech products for customers to try. Visitors can enjoy playing the new Xbox One and PS4 -- seeing for themselves what games look like on a 4K TV. Attendees will be able to enjoy delicious local fare, served up by a handful of on-site food trucks. The event is open to the public; however, customers picking up orders placed on newegg.com will be given priority access.

Give Back this Holiday Season with Newegg
Newegg, in its continuing effort to promote sustainability and environmental stewardship within the e-commerce industry, will begin offering its customers on December 8 a better way to reuse the shipping boxes used to deliver their orders. Powered by Give Back Box, a Chicago-based nonprofit, many Newegg orders will arrive with prepaid shipping labels and instructions on how to package gently used clothes and other household items for donation. This unique approach gives Newegg customers a cost-free, effortless way to donate much-needed items to charity. To enter, people simply submit a screenshot of their Shopping Cart or Wish List from the Newegg website, along with a description (up to 75 words) of why they deserve to win a Newegg shopping spree. The third-place winner receives $1,000 to spend at newegg.com, second place wins a $5,000 gift card, and the first-prize winner receives a $10,000 Newegg gift card, just in time for the holidays. Entries are currently being accepted and must be received on or before December 16, 2013.
