      5Gb USB Expansion Card

    The GLOTRENDS U3044AC combines two USB-C and two USB-A ports on one PCIe x1 card, so a desktop, server or NAS can gain both modern and legacy connections at 5Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 1). The Renesas UPD720201 host controller drives all four ports, each able to supply up to 5V/2A, which is enough to run VR sensors such as Oculus and HP Reverb, industrial cameras and NVMe SSD enclosures without an external power cable. Independent power management with solid capacitors, shielded inductors and self-recovery fuses on every channel protects both the devices and the motherboard. Windows 11/10/8, Windows Server 2012 to 2022 and Linux recognise the card natively on Intel, AMD and ARM platforms, and Windows 8 and above need no driver at all. The card installs in PCIe x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots with a standard-profile bracket for full-height cases. Mac OS is not supported.
