Where do the games go in at and is it really only one controller????

Games get inserted vertically in the red topload slot.  Be aware that the games don't go in the slot very far, thus a large part of the game cartridge sticks out, and the games seat in the slot only with a good deal of pressure.  It does come with only 1 controller, but you can use any of the original controllers too (I've only tried the original controller and an NES Max).

Will it play my everdirve?

I have 4 different flash carts that all work in this....  I am pretty sure the everdrive would probably work too.  This is not a ROM dump type system.  This one is actually a player that plays from the cartridge.
