Question 1

Hi, I am extremely interested in these ones...i just wanted to know do they come with any prescription ? I don't need that. I don't usually wear glasses i just need glasses to protect my vision because i spend so much time in front of monitor.

These classes come with a very minor correction, like, .05 or something, due to the fact that you're reading something farther than arm's length away. I don't need glasses regularly, but honestly I don't even notice the slight correction that come with these (I have 20/20 vision).

Question 2

I have glasses, is their a product that reduces eye strain without reducing visibility?

Yes, GUNNAR eye glasses would do the trick. The ones I have, Onyx, are very light. They definitely reduce eye strain. Also, they reduce the glare from the my computer screen which is quite bright at night. Since I started wearing the GUNNARs i don't notice eye strain anymore.

Question 3

In the field I have used similar glasses for ballistics to reduce the glare and and eye burn from tracers and such. Do these serve a similar purpose for me to use as such? Would you suggest it for this activity? If not, then what for, as this seems glorified reading glasses for PC's. For this price, the answer better be yes, you can use this in the field for ballistics training.

I would not use these for ballistics, I don't think it mentions anywhere that these are shatterproof/safety glasses, you need ones that won't destroy your eyes if broken.

I was wondering if anyone uses these as night-time driving glasses? for the anti-glare properties. Thanks
