Overall Review: As mentioned elsewhere in another review, using HDMI does not fill out the screen initially. You need to use the ATI Catalyst or nVidia equivalent and adjust the overscan to get rid of the black borders. The brightness defaults to 100%, so I had to reduce it to 75% to keep from getting eye fatigue. Now it looks great. Have two Hanns-G monitors at work and no problems with this brand for the past 3 years. I was debating paying $10 more for the 25" model, but reviews on that unit were unfavorable.

Pros: HUGE! Was surprised how big it was, upgraded from a 17". The difference is incredible. Vibrant colors, and 0 dead pixels. Games look and play great. Haven't noticed any sort of ghosting in game or video playback.

Cons: It isn't very tight as far as the vertical adjust goes, which might be a problem if your desk isn't very solid since it can easily cause the monitor to wobble. The buttons aren't the best either, they work fine just can be an annoyance when trying to navigate the menus.

Overall Review: Very impressed. Had some trouble getting it to look right in the higher resolutions. Was blurry and/or not filling the screen. I'm using the hdmi-dvi on a 4870. The solution was to enable GPU scaling in CCC and scale image to full size panel. which worked perfect for 1680x1050. But for 1920x1080, you have to do the same but go under scaling options too and adjust the underscan/overscan. After doing that the picture was perfect at 1920x1080.

Pros: Excellent, clear, bright picture. HDMI, fast response rate, audio line input. Very easy to use. Makes my Xbox 360 look even better than on my 52" 1080p TV, much to my suprise. No adjustments needed to be made with Vista. Just plugged in the VGA and it automatically set it at the optimal resolution. Energy star. I emailed customer support and received a response in a matter of a few hours.

Cons: Built in speakers are functional, not great, BUT because of the built in speakers, there is also an audio "Line in" in addition to headphone/speaker output. See "Other thoughts" for why this is important. Stand is a little wobbly, but alot of larger monitors I've used have this problem. Not a big deal unless you move it often. I'm not a fan of the piano finish... too many fingerprints. Menu/power buttons are hard to read, but not an issue when you learn which is which.

Overall Review: Great choice for a dual purpose monitor. I'm using both my PC and Xbox 360 on this. Alot of the HDMI monitors have headphone/speaker outputs, but not too many have an audio input like this Hanns-G does. This allows me to plug my PC audio into the line input, my Xbox to the HDMI input, and use the headphone (line output) to my Logitech 5.1 speaker system for both of them. Switching the input from HDMI to VGA automatically switches the audio from HDMI to "Line in" as well. In other words, it functions alot like a TV; don't have to have any audio splitters or mute the PC when using the Xbox. Very convenient.

Pros: Great display with a consistency end-to-end. Some have complained of the brightness, but I really appreciate seeing white whites, which I've never experienced on any CRT monitors I've had. Colors are vibrant and rich, and anti-aliasing great (although I probably owe most of that to my video card.) This is an excellent monitor for this price range.

Cons: Well, when there is a box for "cons", most feel they need to say something which may give the reader a distorted outlook. I can say the speakers are lousy. (Have you seen a monitor with good sounding speakers? I haven't!) The menu is a little clutsy, but not as bad as many I have seen, and I haven't had any need to touch it since I first set the monitor up.

Overall Review: Great monitor. Great price.

Pros: Large enough for my needs, no stuck or dead pixels, arrived promptly. Has good color contrast and displays very little if any banding.

Cons: Backlight bleed on each corner with a rather large bar of light along the bottom edge. Very distracting on dark scenes, with any LCD you can expect a bit of bleed (except those fancy LED backlights) but this is a bit of above average in my books.

Overall Review: Can't complain too much, for a monitor under $170.00 at the time of purchase, there wasn't much to expect.

Pros: Big, 1080p HD display. vibrant and bright. can be adjusted for less bright if needed. no problems setting up. This monitor also makes a good screen for A PS3 as well as PC. oh and Blu-ray looks nice on here. Even though Blu-ray looks best on bigger displays. This is a great product for the price, I was a bit nervous when I bought it (Added extended warranty for peace of mind.) but I have not run into a single hiccup or flicker.

Cons: Sometimes it takes a bit to get it to recognize the PS3 but I have come to the conclusion that its a problem with the HDMI port on the PS3 and NOT this monitor. Some online videos take a while to show up. I believe it has more to do with the web based software/ graphical hardware than the monitor.

Overall Review: You can't go wrong with this product. (except DoA ofcourse) please consider this for your PC or Console* needs. *Only Consoles with an HDMI port or adapter to HDMI are compatible with this monitor.

Pros: Nice 23.6" monitor at an unbeatable price. Quick shipping and easy to use monitor.

Cons: 1 dead pixel on left side of screen. No a show stopper for me.

Overall Review: If your image doesn't fill the screen (black box around image), don't panic, your graphics card settings are the problem. Change your graphics card under-scan setting to 0%.

Pros: No dead pixels, hdmi for easy hook up to laptop and crystal clear images.

Cons: For some reason when viewing hd video (media player, media center, vlc) the unit turns off for about 5 sec, then back on (I think it's an hdcp issue) - very annoying. Also, bleed around the corners of the screen is very noticeable.

Overall Review: Overall, great purchase.
