Pros: cheap

Cons: Update to my first review: After my first monitor became unusable due to half the screen constantly flickering, I shipped it back and got a replacement. I was very happy with Hanns-G's customer support. Unfortunately, the product still stinks. My second monitor has the same problems resuming from standby as the first, and now, after about 3 months of use, the screen has become pale and blurry. DO NOT BUY THIS MONITOR. You will NOT save money. If you pay $15 to ship it back -- which you will, at least once -- you're already spending enough that you should get a reputable brand in the first place. Though this monitor has a high overall rating (it is, after all, big and cheap,) the 1 star reviews tell the story -- this model does not resume from standby even when it's "working," and quickly breaks on top of that.

Pros: When it works, it's a decent monitor. Cheap.

Cons: Poor quality control. It began having problems after about three months. The display would go black at about 5 seconds of use. I RMA'd it (I had to call support at least three times to get my RMA number) and received a new one. The new one has now died as well. Read the reviews, avoid this monitor.

Overall Review: Not worth the risk.

Pros: + great size and resolution + no dead pixels (on both the monitors I got) + 2 hdmi + speed + comes packaged in a good and easy to re-use box

Cons: - design isn't the prettiest in the world, but at least there are not 1mm stickers on it - height not adjustable (but this is common with 24"+ monitors) - no usb ports on the back of the monitor

Overall Review: Very happy with my monitors (had to return one of them for making a whistle noise while in standby, but since newegg handled it nicely, I don't want to remove a star for that). For all ATI graphics card owners -- "BLACK FRAME" issue is NOT related to the monitor, but it's the drivers for the ATI cards that are at fault. Solution/fix for the BLACK FRAME issue: 1. download the latest Catalyst drivers 2. open the Catalyst Control Center (right click on desktop) 3. find the "scaling options" tab -- mine is the 3rd on the top row 4. get rid of the "10% underscan" and set it to 0% -- no idea why this underscan happens, but it does to some people. 5. Black frame issue resolved

Pros: Large viewable area Nice piano black bezel

Cons: Uneven lighting (it's a big screen though, I expected this) Controls could be easier to access and they feel very cheap. Slight ghosting in games but not too bad Inexpensive

Overall Review: This has been a great monitor up until a week ago. The screen started shutting off randomly. I tried every combination of input and output from my desktop and laptop computers and the same issue exists for both HDMI ports and the VGA port on the monitor. I called Hanns.G and I have to pay to ship the monitor to them where it will take 10 days or so for them to fix, then ship it back to me. In the meantime I am forced to buy another monitor. I will update my review after the repair process is complete.

Pros: If you get one that works its a nice monitor and a steal for the price.

Cons: My first one was DoA. The screen was completely white with only the back-light displaying. I found several other instances of this happening to people and it seems to be the result of connectors being loosened during shipping. NewEgg made me pay shipping to return it to California when it originally shipped from New Jersey, which is maybe 1/10th of the distance that California is from here. As mentioned in another review, the edges of the monitor have bleed-through from the backlight.

Pros: Wow. This is huge compared to my Hanns 19" and has excellent pic quality. I can have browsers and spreadsheets open side by side and still see the whole document. Far Cry 2 is the only game I play and it is unbelievable and plays with no issues.

Cons: None. Zero dead pixels, arrived in excellent condition.

Overall Review: New Egg is awesome as usual with super fast shipping. Hanns G has become my monitor of choice for value and quality. We have 3 in the house and no issues after two years of operation.

Pros: Cheap, big.

Cons: Annoying high pitch hum when on, horrible viewing angle, and it just died after only 11 months. Fighting with HannsG for an RMA now. Luckily I kept my old monitor.

Pros: Nice big monitor, very bright, good picture, good price, great for gaming.

Cons: Had it for less than 4 months and backlights on the right side started going out so had to RMA it through HannsG, havent gotten it back yet. The monitor turned yellow on the right side of the screen. Its not just my monitor that did this, my brother in law ordered the same monitor 2 weeks before me and his had the same issue.

Overall Review: Pay more for a monitor since with shipping it back to HannsG at $24 its pointless to try and save money. I already reviewed this monitor and gave it 5 eggs but with 2 of these monitors having the same issue when they were ordered 2 weeks apart its bad quality control. HannsG not paying for shipping is pretty rediculous too since it was a known issue that they shipped out bad monitors. If you want to have to ship your new shiny monitor back after 3 months then buy this, if not spend a little more and get a better monitor.
