Built-In SpeakersThe Hanns-G HL248DPB comes with high-quality built-in speakers for rich sound while saving precious desktop space.
Pros: price. size. very cool screen & casing temperature. decent to good quality picture, better than most at this price and size.
Cons: no hdmi. low quality speakers. stand base is very weak, very rickety, and easy to bend so easy to crack. hard to tilt to perfect degree.
Overall Review: you can easily find a better quality picture but not many at this price. no need for hdmi because the audio from speakers is pretty low quality. and anyway any gpu with hdmi has dvi. comes at a pretty bad color/brightness/contrast ratio setting but easily fixable through controls. can't quite get it bright enough to be "perfect" for some games but using along with gpu desktop color settings makes it look great. if it had been in stock at the time i would've paid the extra $35 and got the "Famous Brand/Generic" labeled 25" refurbished HP for sale here instead. should've waited.
