HWABN1: Hi-Gain™ Wireless-300N Access Point / Bridge
The HWABN1 puts multiple solutions into one compact unit, saving you time and money. It converts wired networks into wireless-N networks, and performs at up to 300mbps for fast and efficient data and media transfers. The included Software Setup Wizard lets you change the function of your HWABN1 whenever you wish to adapt to your specific application and changing network environment.
How it Works
The HWABN1 is a 2.4GHz wireless 802.11b/g/n compatible solution that allows you to repeat signal from any wireless access point or wireless router. This product is designed with multiple operating modes: Access Point, Bridge, Point-to-Point, Point-to-Multiple Point, and WDS Bridge.
In Access Point Mode, the HWABN1 converts a wired network to a wireless network.
In Bridge Mode, the HWABN1 consolidates all your wired devices and connects them to your wireless network.
In Point-to-Point Mode, use two HWABN1 devices to beam signal from one device to another (use with wired devices).
In Point-to-Multiple Point Mode, use multiple HWABN1 devices to wirelessly network all your wired devices.
In WDS Bridge Mode, multiple HWABN1 devices share the same SSID to create a wireless mega network.

Wireless-N Access Point ModeIn the Wireless Access Point Mode, the HWABN1 allows for any existing wired network to go wireless at blazing 300Mbps speed! Simply attach the Wireless Access Point using the included Ethernet cable to an open port in your router or switch and enjoy high-speed wireless networking. You can also use the Access Point to cover "dead spots" in your existing wireless network by placing the unit in a room that is lacking wireless coverage.
Wireless-N Ethernet Bridge ModeThe Wireless Ethernet Bridge Mode enables any wired Ethernet Ready device to connect to your existing wireless network using the HWABN1. Connect your PC, notebook, printer, network camera or even an entire wired network to the HWABN1 and establish a wireless connection to your wireless network. At home, you can connect your backhouse to the wireless network in your front house without having to run wires across the backyard. In the office you can wirelessly connect your main office network to your warehouse network without having to run long cables across your office floor. The possibilities are endless and the "driver-free" installation is simple.
