Introduce
Vacuum freeze drying refers to the process of removing water or other solvents from frozen samples. During the whole drying process, sublimation prevents the sample from passing through the liquid state, and the sample is in a vacuum state, and the temperature is generally lower than -10°C. The purpose of vacuum freeze-drying is to restore the original characteristics of the sample after rehydration.
Because the drying process is carried out at low temperatures, it can be used for some materials that are easily denatured at high temperatures, such as proteins, and can ensure that the properties of other compounds will not change.
After vacuum freeze-drying, most biological products such as tissues, tissue extracts, bacteria, vaccines and serum will become dry samples, and no enzyme changes and other biochemical reactions will occur during this process. Vacuum freeze drying is the gentlest process for preserving the biochemical properties of sensitive tissues or other tissues; it is also the best way to dry inorganic substances, such as nano-sized particles, because the surface area of the particles is almost unchanged.
Application
FD-01 vacuum freeze dryer is a high-performance freeze dryer widely used in laboratories. Solid and liquid samples in glass flasks and serum bottles can be freeze-dried. Various containers can be carried out on the same freeze dryer:
1) Surface temperature control of sample pre-freezing shelf
2) The main freeze-drying of samples can be carried out at a user-defined temperature
3) After the sample is freeze-dried, it can be dried at a high vacuum degree at a user-defined limit temperature, which can remove capillary and molecular bound water.
HFD-1 series dryers are suitable for bacteria, viruses, plasma, serum extracts, antibodies, vaccines and pharmaceutical products: such as chloramphenicol, streptomycin, vitamins, enzymes and plant extracts for biological testing.
