is there a battery in this pc?

Yes, there are actually 2 batteries, 1 in the tablet and 1 in the keyboard base. Tablet usually last 10 hours with normal use. As an IT person I have put this through lots O's testing and would recommend it.

Where is the battery? I just got mine minutes ago and the systems says - "no battery found"?

I bought one last week and have a similar problem. The HP split has two (2) batterys, one in the tablet and one in the base. The problem I am having is the battery on the base also known as battery #2 is not recognized by the computer. I took the base apart to see if there was a battery and there was one. I don't know what the problem is. Sorry I couldn't help.

What can the ram be upgraded to?

The RAM in this model CANNOT not be upgraded at all. The 4mb is built into the motherboard and there are no slots to accept any additional RAM

is this product a 64 bit OS?

Yes. This laptop runs on 64 bit architecture and requires a 64 bit OS. The Windows 8 it comes with is 64 bit.
