What does Grade B mean?

I wondered that myself -- I finally assumed (or may have read) that it means the case might have some scuffing or minor damage. The laptop I received doesn't seem to have any visible flaws, but that must be a highly variable situation. I haven't had this laptop for more than a month, but everything seems to work fine -- in fact, it digitizes video faster and better than my desktop, which is kinda embarrassing. This was intended as a business laptop and it seems very sturdy. I'm quite happy with the one I got! YMMV

Does it have an optical drive?  If so, which?

Yes, but it is Read Only, could not make a restore disk and I could not get it to recognize an external USB R/RW  drive - little annoying.  But otherwise computer runs great
